Hopefully Don won't over restore it and it'll resemble the original. I was told it was a basket case found at the T swap meet in Long Beach.

Especially one with a 454 big block!! Russell traveled with the rolling bones hot rod race team to Bonneville and back with only very minor problems. The car was finished only a few weeks before the trip. He got the same mileage as I did in my AV8. Everytime we g***ed up, he was a tenth off from what I pumped. I got between 16 and 19 MPG.

You should've seen that thing on the open road.....goose bumps!!

How tall is that guy Paul? The seat has to be 18 inches back from stock.

Russell has to be about the same height as I am, 6'3". He got in and out OK, unless he had the top installed.

Pretty cool, indeed. One of the highlights of this years trip for me, was seeing you guys roll in with those huge smiles on your faces. Quite an adventure.

That's my '37 Chevy, the grills the stock '37. Lot's of subtle mod's all around tryin to keep it simple. 3" chop, '38 headlights and stands lowered, flipped and lowered hood side panels, one piece hood, shaved, '41 Stude taillights, recessed licence plate, foxcraft skirts, master deluxe bumpers tocked in, '51 Olds dash cluster, air ride, Nailhead, 700R4, 9"...that's about it right now, hopefully I'll get to the paint this winter if I can motivate to get the body work finished.
