Whoa... it's getting hot and heavy on here.

Yeah, jefferson is all tore up.

If anyone wants a model A four door running and driving project, a 41 ford tudor sedan, or a 41 merc coupe... I've got em, and will have one, if not all three there.

Unless of course, someone on here wants them first.

as stated earlier, hwy 18 is all torn up. Those of you coming from the East, I suggest working your way up to I-94 and then get off at Johnson Creek and head South on Hwy 26. Go right (West) at the first light and you will run right into the fairgrounds. Those coming from the West, such as Madison, should do the same. If coming from farther South, then work you way over to Hwy 26 and come into Jefferson from the South. Turn left at the fourth light and you will run right into the fairgrounds.

this is going to suck, boys and girls. I don't see any way around it. The flooding this spring really delayed everything and, frankly, nobody gives a damn. Our town has been really screwed up all year. Can you imagine trying to run a business in this mess? Oh yeah, I am. And it isn't good!

GOOD NEWS! Charlie Shortino, local weather guru, says we are going to have beautiful weather for the Swap! Sunny all weekend, highs in the mid-seventies, maybe even 80!

You know what that means? We will all bitch about the dust!

I am bringing a pair of Corvettes...76 4-speed and 79. Both miles under 100k. $7900 each. Also, for the project guys, a 50 Chrysler Windsor Coupe. Nice solid car in primer, engine rebuilt and engine bay detailed, original interior that is pretty good, good glass, new tires, etc. $3600. Are you bringing anything to sell in the corral?

the M&G is at Noon on Saturday. Now here is the confusion. The grandstands run North/South. So if we are meeting at the end, which one? Towards the center of the swap meet or towards the auxilliary car corral? Anyway, hope to see all of you there!

  21. I will be coming in from the east on Hwy 18 Friday AM. I don't want to go north to I-94 if I don't have to. Is HWY18 open from Dewey Avenue east?

I was told this spring to take Dewey to Puerner to get around the construction, but got off track in Friday morning's torrential rain. By the time I could finally see where I was, I was driving through a cemetery...

  22. Towards the center of the swap meet...sorry!

30dodgeboy: you CANNOT get to Dewey...at least legally. Don't mess with the law in Jefferson Co. Hwy 18 is blocked at Cty Y. Take a right on Y, go to Junction Rd. and take a left. This will take you to Hwy 26 about two miles North of town. Take a left and you should hit Puerner St. at the light.

If you are coming over from SE WI, I would suggest getting to Hwy 20 or Hwy 50 and work your way West to Hwy 12. Take Hwy 12 into Fort Atkinson. This is the main drag. Cross the river and at the second light, just past McDonalds, take a right onto Business 26. This goes for a couple of miles and then intersects with Hwy 26 North. There are signs in town and of course at the interchange. Go North on Hwy 26 and you will pass my place, Top Notch Pre-owned Vehicles just before you reach Jefferson. Go all the way through town and take a left at the fourth light. Again, that is Puerner St.

PM me if you have additional questions or desire my cell. number for emergency use.

Not looking good for me this year. Not sure yet but probably not gonna make it all. So I guess the minibikes will be a free for all. lol

Unless Steve has my coat, then I would have to find time to make it on saturday.

bring the Nova over on Friday, park it at my place, drive it in Saturday...or park it in on Friday. No problem getting in after Noon.

The Nova is a roller. I have the race motor running for it but it would take too much to get it out there. Its on a test stand not in the car. But its nice heres a link to a video of its first run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcOTudW5VXk

If anyone sees a cheap, running go-cart for sale, call me or give my number to the guy who's selling it. I'd certainly apprecaited it.
