I've got a couple dents in sheetmetal where the metal has stretched. (I think oilcanning might be the appropriate term?)

Where can a smalltown guy find a shrinking disc?

Who can coach me remotely on the "how to" part?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Get ahold of Sunchaser Tools http://www.sunchasertools.com/ He is the originator, I think, of this disc and has an excellent video that copmes with it. He can UPS it to you. Don't use a cheapo China knock off! Ken's a real good guy too.

Did a search on "John Kelly" and it said something like "user name not correct".

    Any advice?

  8. I just read an article in somewhere , maybe Ol' Skool Rodz , that shrinking discs can be lethal if they come unglued from stress . If that's the case , I'd definately buy a good quality one . We don't want to lose any HAMBsters if it can be avoided .

Go to advanced search and put it under user name it will give you a scroll down list. I don't think there is a space between the first and last name JohnKelly

there is no glue to come unglued. it is a solid stainless steel disc.

any metal object spinning 5000 RPM can become lethal if not used carefully.

    Hey,

A gentelman by the name of Scott Knight "invented" the disc, Ken/Sunchasertools either bought the rights to market the disc, or markets
the disc for Mr.Knight. Before the "invention" of the disc, we jus' used dead, worn-out 60 grit closed coat grinding discs, and a wet rag.
As with any tool, always inspect all parts that rotate or move prior to
    use.
