I bought a '70 chevy 1/2 ton pu that's been sitting 10 years for $125.00. Took it to the shop, put a battery in it, dumped a little gas down the carb and it fired right up. I pulled the engine and 350 turbo trans and sold the body for $100.00. Oh and it was a 4-bolt block. Felt great.

    BTW those wheels kick ***!!

    I scored a 40cf CO2 bottle tonight for $20!

I lucked out last time I went in and swapped my bottle out - I had a little 20cf bottle and AIRGAS was out of 20cf'rs... so they swapped me up to a 40 for $5 more. Now, I'm hoping to swap my two 40s for an 80 next time I go in!

I found my dad this '66 F100. Longbed, 352 3 speed overdrive, 65,000 original? miles. Runs like a top. $500. He had a '65 new, needed a truck for weekends away from the Freightliner.

I just scored a radio delete plate for my '65 Comet on ebay, it's super rare and I got it super cheap. The guy had it listed as "Ford: early '50's radio delete plate".

I go to airgas too, I can trade up or down w/o charge since I own my bottles...all they charge me is for the gas...

Oh...tip for Airgas users...open a business account with them, they'll bill you in the mail a few weeks later and you save 25-30% off store list price...not just gas, but everything in their store.

got this on ebay for $15.85 plus $8.00 shipping. guy had it listed in the wrong catagory and listed it as a 49 when it is a 50. lucky for me the other bidders were cheap ***es.. I put in a $40.00 bid with e-snipe. I really didn't think I would win since these go for about $100.00.

lots of bargains out there since ebay has pissed off all the customers and they are leaving by the truckload.

Thats not necessarily true, sometimes it's all about the fact that if you dont buy it now you may never see another one.
