One of my Favorites.....

I posted this pic in the thread about Custom Nomads but I think it is one of the baddest rides I have ever seen. Probably my favorite Nomad for sure......The more I look at it, the more I like it. What do you guys think ??? It is in Rolls & Pleats in a recent issue.

 

Oh, I don't like the little cross on the lower fender though......

Seen the car a few times in person. it IS a nice car, but as was mentioned, not a Nomad..
It's REALLY a nice car!!

The cross is an old Schieffer (sp) cam's logo sticker if i remember correctly..i didn't think it looked too bad actually..
Not the typical iron cross bs seen now days..a bit of history with this one.

Nicely built local car, I think it is based in the Bridgeport, Ct. area.

 

The magazine said it is a Nomad.....Looking at it now. Whatever it is, I wish it was in my garage.

 

Oh yeah....and blue. Both are nice cars.

a**** other things....they have hardtop style door gl***, sliding side windows, different quarter panels, headlight eyebrow and fender trim (on '55's), ribbed roofs, back of the roof and tailgate are slanted more, chrome headliner bows, etc.

 

Is the body of the car purple ?? It looks black in the pic I posted from the magazine.

 

yeah its purple. and if you ever see it in person, look at the paint closely, there is a thicker layer of paint forming flames, it looks cool because its not something you expect.

 

Yup, that's a Schneider racing cams sticker. Very slick.

 

Can never believe what you read in a magazine.

 

Or left depending on what side of the car your on.
