  2. Jeff's "TYREFRYR" turned out bitchin'! I really dig the '60s flavour.

Wow Dave..... thanks for the nice shots and GREAT coverage of the show!
It was really nice to see alot of old faces and meet new ones.
I met quite a few old timers who remembered the truck back in the day and some of the antics of Jerry Watson when he built the truck.
Hats off to Pistonandbroke for the use of his booth for the gathering.
I am really looking forward to his show next year... FARFROMSTOCK at the Shannonville dragway.... 3 days of drag racing and fun
Be sure to check it out.
It was also very good to see all the Hambers get together and ramble on.

From what I heard ,there were over 900 cars.... wow.... Waterdown has grown!
It was fantastic....sunny ,warm and great people!

Dave.... I have heard of a speed shop back in the 50's run by a gentleman(italian fella, I believe) that cast heads for hot rodders and roundy guys,...... could this be a connection?

I thought the shop was on Yonge St.
    Thats all I got.

It was our pleasure to be involved in such a great idea, and to have you park that beautiful truck next to our poor old flat head display.... Thanks so much for the invite Flatman (Scott).
For those that don't know Scott, he really is the "salt of the earth" kind of guy. Just ask Ynotayblock, he'll tell you. Thanks again Scott for organizing the meet and greet.
McKee, very nice pic's of the show, you really have a good eye for taking a great pic.
Big A, you did indeed miss a good time, but as it has already been said, there are lots more to plan another meet and greet at.
Anyhow, thanks again for the opprotunity to be involved. Hope to see you all again soon.
    Pistinbroke.

That truck is just awesome. Is there any high-quality high-res photography of it yet?

Thanks for posting, these cars are super, a nice mix of traditional and creativity.

Jeff's truck is an example of what can be achieved with the "new" look of the "traditional hot rod". It's an inspiration for builders of hot rod trucks. So many fine details. One of the highlight features is the hidden suicide perch. This is the best approach IMO.

    Hey Thanks fellas!
I am pleased the way things worked out.....There were some pretty low ebbs during this adventure..and certain Hamber (Blown32) pulled me thru and kept my chin up.
    Also another lurker too(Tindale..show yourself!)
At any rate...the exhaust is being done and hopefully I should be spinning rubba by Friday.

Got some real neat stuff about the ol truck I will share on another thread.

    thanks again!

Kinda hard to discribe something when all of the superlatives have been used and you still fall short. I'll just say congrats Jeff, well done. Now stop setting the bar so high, the rest of us would like to play to.:)
