I have searched and found some great pics and a little info on the history of the mill. But does anyone have any more technical info on the motor? Current cubic inches stroker crank measurements etc? Do they know the hp and torque? And if you have any cool pics or stories. Thanks guys.
1956 Pontiac Mill 316 c.i.d Punched out to 450 Cubic Inches CT Stroker Crankshaft First Production Mickey Thompson Aluminum Pistons 6-71 Roots type blower. Eight 2 Barrel Strombers. Backed up by a 2-speed powerglide w/400 stall converter.
hard to see anything directly in front of you,but who cares? most people who saw that in their rear view mirror would get the hell out of the way anyway.
That car is completely ridiculous, useless, pointless and stupid. I want mine in metal flake green please
lmao Muttley you beat me to it. I was watching the video and you posted it before I could. Awesome machine. I wonder what kind of HP it makes.
Was going to comment on a couple of points that seem to have been overlooked, but thought better of it.
I took those 3 videos at last years primer nats. That car is up there with some of the baddest! Marky's an awesome guy too, he helped me get my hot rod on the road. I spent a lot of late nights there in his garage. That motor is insane, pics and videos dont do it justice, it makes your whole chest shake when you are standing near it. Theres a whole spread in garage magazine no. 17 if you can still find it.. I know hes been working on it for years and making it so it would pass tech. Its been a lot of shit to do. scatter shield, roll cage, steel fuel lines etc etc.
I remember a editorial blurb written about it in something before there was other coverage on it. Saying how ridiculous it was and it's an inoperable characture of a car. The responses were posted all over youtube with gnarly burnouts from the "inoperable" machine. Hell with the critics. It's badass. My son wants it. I want it.
Ya know i have one of those blocks on a stand ,, just waiting to find a blank check to foot the bill for the rest
