This bench seat came with my 56 chevy 150. It obviously no the stock seat. Anyone know what its from? I would like to order an upholstry kit for it and dont know what to get. It looks eraly 60's to me.
With a fold down armrest in the middle...I'd say big car -Caddy, Buick, Olds, etc...there's just no way to tell from a picture... Forget a kit...just have it reupholstered by a pro...you'll like it better...and it'll match the back seat and door panels... R-
There is no fold down armrest. There are no door panels and the backseat needs to be covered as well. I cant afford an upholsterer, and I really dont want to use mexican blankets.
If you try to get kits for the front and rear seats, they'll be for different cars, so they won't match. You're pretty much stuck with either paying for an upholstery job, or getting cheesy universal covers at pep boys, or non-Mexican blankets. Or learn how to do upholstery yourself... a couple of my friends have....
hey that looks like a seat from a 1959 0r 60 impala . I've been looking at them and for one for about a month. Look on e bay under 1960 impala seats and you'll see the similarity. Wanna sell it?
Early 60s' Chevrolet. I have a bench seat from a 63' Biscayne 4 dr in my Sedan Delivery and it looks similar; the fabric pattern is different. Being a 4 dr sedan front seat, mine is not a split back and it "almost" bolts right in to the stock floorboard holes.
