can anyone measure the inside door gap on their 30/31 A
im about to put the sub rails in and need to know if i need to tighten the drivers side or loosen the p***enger side
im thinking i need to bring out the p***enger side because if im not mistaken the drivers side close really nice before i took it off the frame (doors tacked shut)

the p***enger side i think i moved back farther causing the tighter gap but i want to make sure.

Don't have a model A but +/- 1/8" sure seems to be reasonable for the build standards of that era. Put it where it looks right and works best regardless. Good luck.

I only have the drivers door on right now on my
31 Coupe. It measures 1/4" at that spot.

My door opening is about a 1/4 on p*** and 1/8 or less on driver, driver side door opening is 26 3/4 at the top and 26 5/8 at the bottom,1/8 to 3/16 tighter at the bottom, the bolt hole where the cowl meets the firewall line up,can you cut the weld loose at the bottom of the a piller and jack it out a little?its a ***** to get 30-31 coupe door gaps right
