Hal rod bearings?

    Guys and gals....
    I`m looking for info on what types of rod bearings Harry Leo Hosterman used in his HAL big four engines. The rods i have are four bolt with bearings for 2" rod journals.
    Chances are he used something allready made. I hope..:)

    Any help with these questions is appreciated.. Thanks.

    Try Kem Robertson in Huntsville AL. He has been researching 4 banger heads and engines for several years and has more info on these old pieces than anyone I know of. His email is: frontyAF16@aol.com.

    I would be interested in any information on a Hal engine. Does anybody have any info or sources for that type of thing.

    Which HAL there are several ....... D.O.? Early or late

    Bolts arount the cam covers or thru the center?

    Side mount mag or front mount?

    Just bougth a D.O. Hal from a old friend .It has 36 Pontiac rods.They are real beefy and should be available.Give that a try. BRIZ
