Here are a couple of security camera photos of the brazen heist of a 32 5W coupe in mid-Michigan. Under the cover of broad daylight (it was nap time ) slow but persistent thieves took one of fab32's coupes. Sometime reliable sources say the coupe will remain unchopped, primered and will have a 283 powerplant for next summer's events and I can't wait
THIEF! I see you also used a SS454 as the getaway 'quick' tow vehicle.. Well, obviously Fab32's place wasn't guarded like Fort Knox eh? All kidding aside, that's a DAMN nice looking car right there! HELL of a start for sure..looking forward to seeing it go together. Tony
Do we need to sing him a lullaby before we empty his shop, or does he just sort of doze off naturally (like a sophomore in history cl***)? dj
Yea I think we need a 5W group Only let in people who actually own a real one. No tupperware wannabes here. I can't wait to be a 5W snob
Yea it did. I just couldn't stand all a whining and pleading anymore. If you have ever seen a grown man cry then you what I mean Seriously though everybody got what they wanted out of this deal and nobody will be a better caretaker of the 38 than Frank will.
Big congrats to BOTH of you then. Both are great cars. Hell, I'd have traded for the 5wd. It's good you got to me before Frank did. JH
So......how long does Frank have to know you before a gold key for Fort Knox is issued to you? Very nice Rich!.
that is a straight body. Will be a great project, and don't bother asking my company for a security job!
Sometimes you just have to take mercy on those less fortunate a**** us. It IS a fact that if you don't own a '32 your kinda out of the loop so to speak. Now, when one of those poor souls happens to be a friend you are bound by, if nothing else, a sense of decency. Why wouldn't I respond by offering to go from a 4 Deuce stable to a 3 Deuce, I can only drive one at a time. Besides, I happen to know where there is another one tucked away safe and secure just waiting for me to pounce on it. The owner has "promised" I get first chance when it leaves his posession. Not only that this guy knows where there is two more that haven't moved for over 40 years. Ahhhh, So many '32's, so little time. Frank
My god your beginning to sound like a liberal Democrate ......... what am I thinking that will never happen.
Actually Brush all I had to do was remind Frank that I still had that picture of him at that Ban the Bomb peace rally smoking a joint with his long hair and George McGovern for President ****on on his tie dyed shirt.
I never thought I would se the day Frank let anything 1932 leave his place. But this is actually a GREAT TRADE ... for both HAMBERS involved. That little 38 is real sweet ... I saw it a few times when Harrison was the caretaker of it. The 5W looks real nice and now maybe it will see some Highway time soon. Congratulations to both ... Great swap ...
Roadster? I thought you wanted a modified. I've been working on one for you ever since you showed an interest. Now I guess I'll have to s**** that idea and start a roadster project. Before I go in the wrong direction what flavor do you want, Model T, Model A, '32, '33/'34, name your poison and I'm on it. Frank
I wonder what kinda stuff Sharon will let go of when Frank is in for his knee surgery? I cannot believe, after all the bad things Rich says about you, that you actually worked out a deal for one of the 32's... The whining and crying must have been way to much to put up with.
This pic with the project car on a trailer are sometimes most exciting to see than a completed car all painted and ready to run.
