430 mel

    i gotta 430 that i'm goin threw. any pointers that we should do? i mean should we change the valvetrian or any thing? we r gonna do the heads and regrind the camfor sure.

    "Beep" and "Unclescooby", on here, seem to know alot about the MEL engines, if you want to try sending them a PM. I'm sure there are others that could help you out, also. Good luck!

    "Beep" runs a nostalgic FED on nitro with a MEL..... He had it out in Bowling Green this past June.
     
  4. Look first at the tech pages on here. Look up "making a MEL live". After that e-mail me at BPerrenot@hotmail.com and Ill tell you all I k now. If yours is a pre 61 engine, trash the valve train and use later stuff.

    ive got msd distributors, bronze distributor gears, roller valve train and cam, and a blower manifold, let me know if you are interested...
