No, we took some friends out for a birthday dinner beforehand, so we drove the wifemobile instead.

That's cool as hell, looks like something off the Thunderbirds.

Never heard of John Fluevog though but then again I wear nerdy Sperry Topsiders.

    Love it.

Cool to see a very nice custom built from a
    (somewhat) modern car.

I like this version without the green swoopy on the bottom.
It lets the shape of the body show off better.

True, but he gets extra points for doing it with a Jag!

That interior is pretty boss, too. Alligator skin is not a look you see very often in customs!

  14. i like coops b&w white pics over the color just a bit more sinister looking maybe

The car was built here in Vancouver, British Columbia by a company called RX in North Vancouver. They've restored several Pebble Beach cars as well. It's small block Chevy powered and pictures don't do it justice.

  20. The two tone is a throw back to factory paint designs on the 1960's Mark IX sedans. Retro rears its head even in high dollar playboy rids.

Very nice. Made cooler IMO since there aren't many people out there building them.

  22. Yeah thanks, still think the front end is uglier than shit. And yes i have looked at jags before You JAG!

I'm not slagging the photography, but this is one of those cars that looks spectacular in person, and just OK in pix....I think if you look at it as a very cool Jag instead of a 50's style custom....It all comes together, including the colors......

In my case, i agree. I would love to get some photos of it under better conditions, like in daylight! It is very impressive in person.

did the paintjob come first or the shoe?

I like the car, though would do a couple things different. Give credit for trying something different and pulling it off.

That is the best looking foreign car I have ever seen.Interior is a little over the top for me .Grill and headlights leaning forward looks awesome. I like the overall look !
