Model A's with the hood but no fenders?

    Anyone got pictures of a model A with the hood but the fenders taken off?

    Just about all the early Dry Lakes photos show the cars with the hoods and no fenders. To me the hoods make the cars look like race cars, no hood = broken, or being worked on.

    Man that looks great. I like that much better than the no hood look.

    I like the look but at the same time I feel like all of the good stuff is covered up.

    Not an "A" but I'm all about that look too, my '31 coupe will be built the same way, and I'll louver the decklid too.

    The one nice thing about the hood..............doesn't take long to take off..........about
    5 minutes and you can show off what's underneath.............

  9. I like how Clarks turned out... and I'll be doing something similar... minus the nice paint, fit and finish. :rolleyes:
