....i dont like being labeld...in the same token, for the most part i dont give a fuck what someone thinks of me,,,,but with that said,,, ..i dont really care what color your skin is,,white,red,black,brown,yellow,..every race/color has there ups and downs,,, to me,,the PERSON is what makes a man..not some label... stand up as a person..dont hide behind some label...when you decide to hide behind a label you first of all are basically giving up and accepting what comes with that said label,,then after that ,you are now defending said label.... who gives a flying fuck,,,,, just be yourself and try to be the best person you can.
It was a pleasure meeting you guys! Wish i'd had more time to hang out. Hud..... you are the man!!!! Haney.... don't worry about it, man. I don't think the people who read what you wrote realize just how many people we have in our little part of the world that think they are glorified redneck necks and take great pride in it. Shame they don't understand what white trash they really are!
Learn a little each day! Always wondered what redneck meant, makes sense. But, that said, I think it is a rather common misconception. I mean Jeff Foxworthy made his entire career out of it, so it must be common enough where a large body of people can relate to the jokes. Hell, here's 300 of em, and none of them are geared toward "the regular working class man", so to jump on one college educated board member for being "ignorant" to what redneck is would be the very definition of ignorant itself. http://www.countryhumor.com/redneck/mightbe.htm
I notice no photos from this show. Its funny how it was stated we look like our cars. old dependable and a little beat up. With wisdom like this I guess its the reason I like Mr. Hudson so much... Bobby...
man o man..who cares the name o the show..it was great..the south treated us northerners great....people is just people n who cares anyway...
