centerbolt head vc adaptors?

is an one running the 87+ sbc adapters to run earlier valve covers? i did a search b4 posting and i saw alot of people mentioning them but no one said their running them?

 

my dad uses them with no problems.

 

I have never used them personally but I have always heard that they leak..

 

Using Studebaker valve covers would be cool... I read on here that they are supposed to fit the newer center-bolt Chev heads.
