Does anyone here use DHL for shipping parts? I've tried them. Ilike their prices as compared to UPS and FedEX, BUT I've had nothing but problems with them, I do not know if it is the local agent or the DHL company itself.

Prices are better they take up to 150 lbs and are much faster. On had one bad experience and they made it right.

We've gone with DHL at work per corporate contract....due to their lower prices over UPS. And since I'm the guy ordering many parts for my guys, HAVE to use DHL per corporate from certain vendors. I HATE it. The service is not nearly as reliable as UPS. Next day can be upwards of a week.
UPS is a much better Co....IMO......

I tell vendors if they are going to use DHL to ship to me don't bother I'll buy elsewhere. DHL is the single worst shipping company I've ever dealt with.

DHL can not find my house. I've called them repeatedly and told them exactly where I'm at. They still can't find me.

One overnight package with a $4000 check inside took more than 30 days to reach me because it was sent DHL. The vendor that made that choice no longer gets my business either.

    Don't use DHL.

DHL sucks, it took them almost a week to get my new computer from their depot to my house, and the stupid depot is only 80 miles away. Plus their tracking sucks big time, it tells you what region your package is in, like I need someone to tell me that my house is served by the Columbus depot...no shit surelock, UPS tells me WHERE its at. I haven't had a problem with ups in 4+ years either.

If you need to ship anything over 100 lbs. domestically.... Ask me. I work for a logistics company not a package service. You get what you pay for with those guys! I offer a single point of contact for all your shipping needs from quoting prices, booking loads, customer service/follow up, through delivery..... PM me for details!!

I use DHL everyday. No problems as of yet. It may be a regional thing but UPS sucks ass in this area. Never had and issue with Fed Ex either. I guess any company is only as good as it's worst employee.

I agree with your sentiments, but it should read "no shit, Sherlock" as in Sherlock Homes,as in it is elementary my dear Watson. In other words,it doesn't take a great detective to figure out. Sorry, just feeling bitchy tonight.:)
