Had a great time. I think I saw enough red '55-57 Chevys and primered Model As to last a few lifetimes though.

Of course I was scanning for Forward Look Mopars, and there just weren't weren't many there. I believe the count was four, including mine. Kind of ****py stats considering there were over 2000 cars in attendance. Saw plenty of early Hemis though.

I had one of the few Mopars there, and perhaps the LOUDEST car in the whole place!

Thanks for posting the pics as I did not see some of those during the weekend and am sorry I missed a couple.

You could sure tell the rides that came to the show in or on trailers versus those that drove there. I think more attention should be given to the cars/trucks that are actually used rather than the garage queens but that is just me. I enjoy them all but it takes balls to drive them.

I do not see any pics of my 54 5 window. Guess it was not hamby enough - drat.

I love that '68. B-body Mopars were so well styled from '66-70.

Pretty sure B***' coupe would give you a run in the loudest department. :D

Blue Thunder has really cleaned up since the last time I saw it when you drug it home on the trailer! Great job Jerry. Did you do any repaint, or is that just a lot of magic with a buffing wheel?

There is a special parking area for drivers. Were you in it?

It's called the "Ya Gotta Drive 'Em" area.

Thanks for posting, you brought us a lot of good ones here. The purple deuce 5 window is very cool, and the partially channeled tudor is a really tastefully done rod.

No, I was in the south paddock/lot at turn 1 on Sat with a group as I had the EZ-UP. They would not let you use canopies in the "special" parking areas from what the rules stated.

On Sunday I was in the first row overlooking the tunnel. Great place to watch the cars/trucks come in.

There were so many great cars and trucks there on Sat that I can understand how the 54 got overlooked.

It was a great show and the track cruise was worth the price of admission to me.

There are so many '47-'55 AD trucks around that unless it's just off the wall crazy, I have a bad habit of not seeing it. I think I took pictures of two of those trucks.....

And this one is no where near stock (but effing amazing!)...

Checked out one of your other posts, you've got a clean solid truck! Sorry I didn't check it out closer.

I had ****py parking all weekend. But didn't care :D

Hope you don't mind me dropping my post into your post. Yours seems to be the popular one Fidgiter.

Again it was a great show from what I got to see of it.

click HERE for my post on the show.

  19. I though that area was for people that had driven there and had traveled over 500 miles . We only drove 280 miles one way.
