After completing Big Olds brake adjustment on Friday night I felt he was ready to hit the open road so we headed to Ididit's open house. Saturday morning. The event always starts early in the AM and by mid-afternoon folks are pulling out. The last few years the weather has been picture perfect and there are always in excess of 1,000 cars there.

The local KofC serves a pancake breakfast in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. All monies go to charity. There are great door prizes and one of a kind trophies that are truely pieces of art. Lots of local buds attend so it's a full day of socializing for me.

I did meet Captain Scarlet for the first time. We hit it off right away and spent the whole day together checking out the cars. Ran into Enjenjo and the three of us wandered around together for abit.

Aslo ran into Don, AKA 348tripower and had a wonderful time catching up. Thanks so much for the dinner invite sweetie. I'm looking forward to seeing both you and your lovely wife again real soon. Please make sure you p*** along my "hello" to her.

Also got to hang out with Danimal and his awesome son Court. Nice seeing you boys. Also got the chance to chat with Ray AKA Safaraiknut and watch him do alittle striping. Nice seeing everyone again.

I put all the photos in a slideshow, just trying this for the first time. Hope it works. Sure was easier then coping and pasting each individual image tag.

Enjoy the slideshow...well I thought it would post larger. I guess you have to click on the photo below and it will start.

This young man lives just up the road from me. Saturday was the first time we have met. Small world. Very nice job on that truck. Denise, again, nice work on the event coverage. The photo show is slick.

    Very nicely done.

You know folks over the years I have know many people that seek/desire/wish/beg/bribe for their ride to be included in some event coverage or feature.

We have many great magazine people out there busting their ****s, Kirk for one, but to get included in Denises coverage is a bit more special.

Thanks again Denise for taking my mind away, for the moment, on the soon to be hectic day ahead.:D

If it were a video I would agree, but for still shots I don't think so. In any case thanks for the pics

I kinda agree. I'm editing all this go-cart and mini-bike video I have from a couple of weeks ago and I'm planning on using the old film look but I wanted to try it on something simple first. I think the mini-bike stuff will be a hoot with this look when it's done.

Thanks for the kind words, means alot. I'm looking ofrward to next weekend and meeting you for the first time.

From your fingers to their eyes :D

In Photobucket right alongside of the S****book feature:D I'll save that one for something special. I didn't look for the old filmstrip feature in program you were checking out BUT I think it might work better then the Photobucket one if I can figure out how to get sound on it. Maybe you should get the Mac so I can use it too.;)

Thanks bud, I'm looking ofrward to meeting you as well. Perhaps the Jalopy Showdown in May.

I spoke with Delton a few weeks ago and at that point it was a go BUT I've spent alot of my play money the last month on repairs for Big Olds so I don't think I'm going to be able to make it and it really bums me out. I was so looking forward to hanging with you boys......I even saved my black glove.:D I'll know in the next week or so and will let you guys know.
