  2. This one was built by Kirk Duquett of Woody Works in Cincinnati. Great workmanship throughout with many hand crafted detail pieces. I had the pleasure of having it pass through the garage, and it's now somewhere out there in Hot Rod Land.

  5. I have admired that RPU since I saw it at the GN roadster show in your booth. While it's not my style, the fabricating, and workmanship is exquisite. Nicely done.

  7. OK, at the urging of some fellow OFC members, I'm posting this pic. This was my idea of what an RPU should look like when I was 17, and it still is.

Here's a couple of shots of my partially completed RPU that is now disassembled and waiting for inspiration (or a buyer) to get completed, It's supposed to be a late '60's inspired build with a 289 HiPo, C-4, Halibrand and SW Greenlines. [IMG]

I was watching that one on eBay. If my memory serves me correctly, you got a SMOKIN deal on it recently!

Thanks for the kind words. We are bringing 3 more cars to the GNRS this year- 29rpu, 32rpu and a 32 roadster. We will be in the same location. From reading this thread it sounds like you have built a car or two. If you make to the show this year stop by and we can talk about some past and future builds.

  25. Yeah, Bull....the price was O.K. but since I got it home I've had to go through the entire fuel system including a carb rebuild. It runs sweet now.

The caster is at 4 degrees and will need to be adjusted up to 7 degrees or so, and the U-joint/driveline angles are all off but, fortunately, it's all adjustable in the trailing arms so that's a freebie.

Yesterday I fired it up and pulled the headlight switch and the lights that worked a few days ago didn't come on. :D
