I have been thinking about adding a tach in my 37 chevy p/u and since I have a stock looking dash and interior it needs to look old,so are there any old looking tachs being made or is it time to spend the bucks on a old one. Jeff
This is one I've had my eye on for a while. A little pricey though....... http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=ATM%2D2897&N=700+400442+115&autoview=sku
you can still find a nice old one on ebay for reasonable $$,,,,, some bring big bucks,,,,but there are always some good deals if you check once in a while,
Got a Mooneye's one in my 53 now. Works fine, has the old style look to it and is very affordable... I have another for the truck i'm building too. I've heard good and bad about them, but so far i havn't had any issues at all. Only drawback is it's a plastic housing, not tin..To me that wasn't a big deal, other's it may be. Tony
