New vintage looking tachs

    I have been thinking about adding a tach in my 37 chevy p/u and since I have a stock looking dash and interior it needs to look old,so are there any old looking tachs being made or is it time to spend the bucks on a old one. Jeff

    you can still find a nice old one on ebay for reasonable $$,,,,,
    some bring big bucks,,,,but there are always some good deals if you check once in a while,

    had a ^^ gooneyes one in my old 61....might end up getting one from my model a..... :D

    Got a Mooneye's one in my 53 now. Works fine, has the old style look to it and is very affordable... I have another for the truck i'm building too.
    I've heard good and bad about them, but so far i havn't had any issues at all.
    Only drawback is it's a plastic housing, not tin..To me that wasn't a big deal, other's it may be.

    Try this ebay sellers store he seems to have new older gauges and Cal custom & Eelco goods :Tuscola Trading Company I have bought several things from them,Good folks!:cool:

    I used the autometer golden oldies gauges and tach that looks like the old 40 ford gauges.
