Aftermarket blinker

I bought one of the AM turn signals like this one from speedway:

I have everything hooked up and working I just wanted to know if anyone who owns one of these could tell me if the red light is/should be on constantly once the key is turned on. I thought it should be out and only blink when the hazard is pulled. But the way it is hooked up know it is constantly on and blinks when the hazard is pulled. I just didnt know if it should work like that. Thanks for the help

 

I had one on a truck and it never blinked. It just went constant while you had the turn signal on.

 

Do you have the wiring diagram left over? I got an old one and forgot how the wiring went.

 

Yes

Yellow=Left front
Green=right front
Brown=right rear
Orange=left rear
Red=brake light switch
Blue/Black to flasher
