Try Britton's Antique Auto parts. 1 800 255 1929. They have new ones for $7.85 each
Obsolete Ford parts, inc. 1 405 631 3933. They have them for $6.95 each. Nuts cost extra at $4.50 a set.
Also you could try Sullivan's Garage but I only have them in my bookmark so you will have to Google to find them.

Is Obsolete the place everyone said to stay away from, or is that someone else? I don't remember.

They are out of Oklahoma city. I have never bought anything from them. I got thier catalog at the last swap meet in Arlington. They come with a shitload of repro stuff. They have different catalogs for other models too but I only got the A one

[/ QUOTE ] Ahhh, Fresh Meat!! Go ahead and buy from Obsolete in OK City, then you can join the rest of us who have been screwed by their lousy parts and even worse treatment. And beware-Dales Manufacturing is the same guy.

I ussually take some half inch round stock, tap the ends, heat it up with a torch and bend it into a U-bolt. takes about 10 minutes...

I read on somebody's post on here (a rear kick-up howto or something) where they cut the heads off of some bolts and welded the shanks to the crossmember. It wasn't pretty, but looked pretty stout.
