Is there a difference between a 700r4 dip stick and 350, 400 trans dipstick? Thanks

  2. I dunno, but you can usually answer questions like this by looking in a Summitt catalog or the like.

If they handle three different part numbers for the three transmissions . . . there's your answer.

All three tubes are different in relation to how far it goes into the case for a fluid reading. If you have a transmission parts supply store that wholesales to the transmission shops in your area they can get a tube and stick that you trim the length of the tube to fit which ever trans you are using. It is a much better part than china chrome you find on the shelf in a parts store. It also runs around 15 to 20 bucks.
