Western Ohio Flathead help?

Hello,I am 25 miles west of Dayton and 50 miles north of Cincy.I am getting ready to start my first Ford flathead rebuild and would like to find a machine shop with a good reputation and knowledge of flatheads.I know it is going to expensive and would like to avoid any costly mistakes.Thank you.

 

You might want to try Ohio George's speed shop in Dayton. It would be my best guess of who might have some experience with flatheads.

A great place in Columbus is 'Fowlers Racing Engines' - they build everything from top-end blown alcohol stuff, down to Stutz Bearcat engines that are worth a fortune. They've done all my machine work since I moved to Columbus and have a very impressive facility and Jeff Fowler has a very experienced crew - as good as it gets.
