I love Ford wagons. My wife just finished nursing school, so you can bet I'll be sharing this thread with her and hopefully sparking some interest in long roofs.
No she doesn't wear the outfit, but she did help a lot building it. she was right there in the garage getting her hands dirty with the rest of us (Dad and brother). she's a pretty cool wife and i think we are the lucky one's, She puts up with my car obsession.
I love them 55-56 Ford Wagons! If I was going into the wagon game, that's what it'd be for me! Is it actually an old meat wagon??
Did you pull the 'ol, "Hey, lets buy YOU this car."? When you wanted it for yourself. Thats what I had to do w/ my gf and her Falcon wagon.
Nah,she's a car chick and wanted it as much as me, but after the first time she drove it she told me that I would have to get myself something else becuase this was HER car now. She's so cool to let me drag home another project so we are now in the process of building a 30 ford sedan. By the way, thanks to every one for the kind words about HER car.
having been down the 'her car' road before [non hamb item], it's funny how 'her' car gets done first! lol
You know, I DO read stuff on this site!! No matter what your original reason for buying it was, there is no denying that is is all mine now! And cooler than your car.
It's great, kind of has a small town feel to it still. We have cruise-ins once a month downtown, lots of things to do around town. Just a great place to live and raise a family.
Good looking wagon. Hope to have my wifes 60 parkwood on the road next summer. Maybe we'll see you out there.
