Im kicking myself now for not going. I realy wanted to check it out but had to work on my projects instead. between my deploying and civilian work I only get 2 days off this month so I had to make them count.

It was 7500 with garnish moldings. It had been in a fire and the pre-fire metalwork was really bad also. I know the owner, he replaced it with a nice original body. Some door skins, quarters and a bunch of bondo and you're set.

Im always a glutton for punishment and bought the 30-31 sedan from moses way cheap, found a cowl tank for 40.00 and the drivers door for 10.00 really solid except for where the door handle was pryed out easy fix though, the body will take a little longer but is doable.

Jim, unfortunately the rust was mostly gone. But lucky for you it was POORLY replaced with some of the crudest patches you have ever seen. Even as rough as it is , it is still be a buildable car. If you are interested in it , pm me and I will get the owners phone number to you.

I think people were wanting to deal this year. with the economy and boeing strike..

I only got a license plate for the 62 and a new door latch ***y. I wanted to talk with the owner of the yellow 66 impala convert to see if he was interested in a trade for the 57 but did not want to wait around...

The '66 Impala convert sold for $12,000 on Sunday. The car was from Vancouver Island, sold to some one from Federal Way.(Stayed in your neighborhood). The seller had to stay with us till tuesday when the banks opened to close the deal.He felt he was fortunate to get that much with the crowds being down and not much else selling.

    Hey Uncle Buck,

If I buy it, will the case discount still apply? I think I'll need three. I am envisioning lambo doors, testarossa quarters and maybe a sunroof. I might be pushing it though.

The crowd was a lot smaller this year and some of the stalls were empty. I did manage to buy a M-21, with bellhousing and hurst super comp shifter for $500. And a set of corvette 2 1/2" exhaust manifolds, a really cool old edelbrock fuel log for $5!!, and a 40 ford pedal ***embly. So I would say it was a good year to deal.
