this is my new F100 project that i bought for $400! its a 63 with the 292 and a 3 on the tree. not running yet, but cranks over under its own power. bought it from the first owner's grandson. it's been on their ranch since it was purchased in 63. body is super straight with only minor rust above the drip rails and in the back corner of the bed. can't wait to get it goin![IMG]

Brings back memories, I drove one of those when I was 16, working for a local pool company. The truck did have wicked frame twist to it, but I am sure you'll reinforce the whole thing...

I used to love pulling that column shifter down hard and grabbing second, it would light up the one legger bias tires EZ. Keep us posted on the progress.

plans are to notch the frame. maybe drop axle up front. try to get it as low as possible. keeping the y block. might keep the 2bbl might put a 4 on there if i find a manifold for the right price. throw some black rims with skinny whitewall bias plys. (still has 2 bias on it from back in the day, but they're cracking badly)dont know on paint yet. want to get rid of the sharp line on the rear fender. bench seat it still good, just needs a healiner. its a long bed, so it'll be great for bringing my triumph along with me.

so after a few weeks, i just fired it up for the first time. idles good. a little rough, but thats not bad considering all i did was put a fuel pump, carb, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, and coil on it. now on to plumbing the entire brake system...
