pictures? sounds like something you'd buy from a full page "snake oil" type ad in a JC Whitney catalog

There have been so many ways to modify the basic spark plug design since the late 1890's that guys have all four walls of their garages covered with different types. When I got to 600 brands I knew I had a problem, and downsized to 100 keepers.

I'm pretty shure they were a 2 stroke gimmick, had some in an outboard a long time ago Check out rimfire on the web.

Many years ago I bought a box of C.R.A.P. (Cherished Relics And Posessions) at a swap meet. One of the items in the box was a can of spark plugs, with the name "REATH" (I'm guessing Joe Reath) on the side. They are Champion N-54R, N-57R, and N-60R plugs, with a very deep center electrode and a fixed-gap to a pin on the inside of the threaded portion of the plug. I ***ume these were used in one of his fuel cars.

Does anybody know if Joe is still with us? About a year ago there was a thread that said he'd been hospitalized, but never heard anything beyond that.
