33 vs. 34 ford

Can one of you fellas please tell me the difference between 33 & 34 ford 5window garnish moldings? Thanks

 

On the 34 there was a 1 inch lip on the rear upright part of the door window garnish. This was because the 34 door windows would roll back about an inch to act like a vent..

 

Thanks Olwoodie. The reason I ask,is because I found what I thought was 33-34 door garnish(not knowing there was difference)but when I compared it to known set of 33 garnish the molding I found was about 1in. shorter. Is that right?

 

The door garnish that is 1 inch shorter is probably a 34. You also have to make sure that it is not from a four door. The four door garnish is the same length as the 5 window garnish but it is not quite the same height. I don't remember if which one is taller.
