Wierd Overflow Tanks

    After seeing the fire extinguisher overflow tank thread it got me wondering what other things you guys use.

  6. not really wierd but more like frugle! ok crappy and lazy come to mind , i didnt even drink the beer as i found the can layin around in the shop..
    recycled maybe?

    I was going to do that with an old cocktail shaker, too. But then I started making cocktails in it, so there will have to be a change of plans.

    I have mine to where it can hold any fine wine: Wild Irish Rose, or Boones farm.

    On my Deuce roadster I used a 1945 WW II aluminum canteen with tubes welded in the bottom .

    There's a whole other thread about these that Ryan started, may have some other pics and info that you'd find helpful. Search either "overflow" "coolant" or "puke" tanks....

    I don't know if beer cans/bottles are weird, cuz I see them on several cars at the shows nowadays. but you gotta love the vintage colt 45 can. Billy Dee Williams would be proud.

    ..thats what that is?..Ive seen only one of those before in my life..and i didnt pick it up..Dam!
    I love the old glass bottles..got an old moonshiners bottle with the hook or loop handle..think i might use it..but it is a bit large..that looks sweet man

    Ive also got a larger square bottle that has a spigot in the bottom..:cool:

    Found that thing on egay a while back.
    It is hard to see on the photo, but it says "embalming" across the top on the side facing towards the wheel, and on the other side, it has some name. Think it is a company name. i forget exactly what it says.

    very cool idea..i never looked close enough at the bottle that looked very simular to yours..I bet it was the same makers bottle..just looks too much the same

  29. I use a Brian Benson pinstriped shop truck red wine bottle - sold at the last Paseo nationals.
