It was a great show. I seems to get bigger every year. A few "out of place" cars, but 99% were right on the money. The chassis engineering on the satin orange model A was outstanding!!! good to see all the out of state car too!!
Nice Pix, thanx for sharing. The flat black Merc ..louvered hood etc is bad ass. Some nice stuff, few skulls and webs but thats going to happen these days. ~Sololobo~
it was a good show alot more cars than the first year and the bands were really cool I haven't down loaded my pictures yet will put them on tommorrow
Here are some pictures I took from late in the afternoon. The entire field was full when I got there. Bright sunny day. Great job by Ian, Matt and Charlie. These two cars have awesome paintjobs and are always well presented. Buick straight eight Road Agent/Gamma Ray HAMB in the house Johnny Custom playing with Sasquatch & the Sickabillys. That wraps up the New England show season. All our favorite shows, Hot Rod Riot, Milltown, Fallout and the Rumblers were blessed with sunny days and big turnouts. The feeling of community got strong this year and that can only make 2009 even better. More assorted pics from the event in our gallery. http://murdercycles.com/v-web/gallery/albums.php Later, Ray in CT
wow....weird seeing my hamb tags on the last post hahaha.....thats inside my "tool box" in the back of the RPU.....Anyway, awesome time.....cold ride there and cold ride back (4 hours round trip) but well worth it. I had an excellent time and was again impressed with the quality of iron at this CT show......I took a few pics, but not as many as I should have. One car I was blown away by was this 32 5w. The duece was a CA hotrod "since 1955" as it stated on the dash.....would have rather seen bias plys on her, but, anybody can pick apart a car.....and this one was one of the best examples Ive seen....check out the turn signals, the real deal eddie meyer air cleaner, etc....car was just killer and I still have get "excited" just by looking at the pics. Awesome show.....thanks guys....will not miss another!
Well another Hot Rod Fall Out has passed. This by far was our biggest show yet. With just over 500 cars. Ian , Charlie and myself couldnt be more pleased. We would like to thank everyone that came to the show and showed their support. I have sonme excellent pictures that I will be posting later tonight. HRFO IV is already in the works. Hope to see you all there Oct 17 2009 Cheers 100% Matt
couple others....loved the detail in that maroon 29 roadster on 32 rails....liked the "shelf" under the dash for gloves, maps, etc....just a cool detail and many ideas gotten from that car for my next project
looks like a great show. wish i could have made it to this one too. so hard to decide when events like this and the gathering of the faithful are the same day... but what are ya gonna do?
Great pictures. Thanks to all for posting. A very cool event. The ride through R.I. and Connecticut on Rt 44 alone was worth the trip! See you next year.
Great show. Thanks for the effort guys and I guess the third time's the charm on the weather. Dennis & Sue
