Not so smart thief Finally gets into my car!

Monday night I went out with some friends to a Koffin Kats show in Ft Worth, came home about 1:30 am, had to get up at 6:00 for work.
Went outside and noticed that my window was half way down, I had a few beers the night before so I figured maybe I left it down, but I was pretty sure I didn't. Also noticed that my door was not shut all the way, then looked at what I thought might be some kinda baby powder from the pool table or something. Realizing that it was shattered glass I start getting pissed!
I live in a fairly nice neighborhood, where I have left my windows all the way down and keys swinging in the ignition lots of times.

So anyway must have been some kinda genius!
Check out how they tried to get in!

They tried to PRY the window out of the channel back by the door lock! I DON'T HAVE ANY FUCKING DOOR HANDLES! The goddamn wing window doesn't have a lock on it at all! When they realize that they weren't going to get the safety glass to bend out of the way, they try to pry on the wing window cracking it too! They bent the hell out of my stainless trim, wasn't in that good of shape any way but still.
Then I guess they started pulling up on my window crank thinking that it was the door handle and broke my ivory knob off.

 

Then they Finally get in the car. The only thing I have of any value is a $180 cd/mp3 player.
After trying to PRY it out of the dash, fucking the radio and my dash all up, THEY GIVE UP! Not taking anything!

So I call the coppers and they come take a report saying that 4 other cars in the neighborhood got the same kind of armature treatment, breaking more then they took!
Fucking dummies!

 

brilliance, man, brilliance. my dad's business partner has one of those caddie escalade EXT truck things, right? well, his sculpture studio/gallery is downtown, kinda not so nice neighborhood unless ya like crack and crack hos. well, some REAL gone in 60 seconds types hit his truck...

the tried to get in by prying the doors open with a pry bar. brilliance.

They picked a really bad time to do this too, I just watched American History X the other day,(makes me wish I would have caught them in the act)(bite the curb motherfucker!) and I get off probation next month! If I do catch them I will have to keep them hostage or hide their bodies for at least a month!

I think this is going to speed up the chop. I was going to chop it this winter but I don't want to buy glass twice so maybe in a couple weeks I'll start cutting. I think Bass has a dash too. Thanks Jeff, if I think of any thing else I'll let you know.

Sorry about the car. It always sucks just because of the hassel you have to go through just to replace it.My old truck got broke into 3 times all on the same window and nothing was ever taken. I was about to just leave that window out and just do without.

No doubt it is local kids, not just one. I'd have to hurt the little punks if I found em. But all in all they could have screwed your car up so much worse.
I never did much worse than siphon gas when I was a kid but my big brother did all kinds of shit like that and dumber. Kinda glad nobody plugged him, he turned out ok after he got growed up. Funny thing is he was an outlaw punk in hicksville South Dakota but got his shit straightened out living with my aunt and uncle in a seedy part of L.A.

 

That really sucks. The scum bags hit our street about 6 months ago. Real mental giants. They got into my son's pickup and set his radar detector on the hood of the truck. I guess his partner must of set off the car alarm when he was breaking into the neighbors pickup. My son got lucky as I guess they both got scared when the alarm went off and they ran for the woods. My son couldn't figure out what his detector was doing on the hood in the morning till he saw the back glass bashed out of the neighbors truck. Once...just once I'll like to catch them in the act. I'd like them to, "Say hello to my little friend"

 

My car was broken into in my driveway when I was in high school. They pryed the locks out of both doors and the trunk, and the doors weren't even locked. They got my gym clothes and my English book. Helluva score.

 

I hate thieves. Especially when they damage shit to get to what they're after. Idiots!!
Sometimes I wonder if its not better to leave everything open so they can simply open the door to tear hell out of the dash. Probably kids after something to sell to pay for their drug habit. I say, cut their fuckin hands off!

 

Sorry to hear that I have a late model dodge truck they broke into it just to steal the diaper bag I guess there not potty trained !!!!

 

Here's one for ya...

I used to go clubbing in bad neighborhoods back when I was in college. We went to this place in SE Washington DC one night and parked the car on the street outside the club. I had an overnight bag with me because I was staying with friends. My car at the time was a 1981 toyota celica hatchback and since there is no place to put something out of sight because of the hatchback, I thought the best thing I could do was lay everything in the bag out flat so any potential thieves would see there was nothing of value in the car.

Once I had everything laid out (victorias secret bra & matching panties, shorts, shirt, and misc. make-up, I locked up the car and left. When I came back out, my side window was bashed out. Funny thing is that the thieves took only my bra, my panties, and a tube of red lipstick. I'm convinced that a transvestite hooker did it.

In any event, sorry to hear about the crappy break-in. People suck.

Seriously, do some asking around. "Pros" like that should be damn easy to catch. First thing they probably did is represent how they broke into a coupla cars and got all kinds a loot. (Cause they ain't gonna admit they got nothin'). Ask some local kids. Even if it wasn't kids that did it, they're the best grapevine. Adukts like to brag to kids to shine themselves up.
