Hi all, I was just reading, "unveiling our new shop" and noted that Danny mentioned his father. I scrolled up and saw hid Dad's post on Daddy's birth name of Bruce, same as on the shop sign. I know HAMBandy's father is around somewhere though I don't know him or is HAMB name. I do know my son, The Bullfather is a member. Soooooooooo.......... How many Father/Son or Daughter members do we have here on the HAMB? Rodding for me has been a family thing since I started dating my wife and got married.
hey emil, my dad has no time for the computer since he's out on the road all the time, its too bad he cant get on once in a while, he'd get a kick out of all the stuff that goes on through the hamb
O/T Justin, I'm proud of you. You are one of the young ones that stuck with it and now you're on your third project, the RPU. WTG kid.
I was reading through old threads last night and got to wondering where you'd disappeared to... Nice to see you back...
Guess it dont count, but for what it is worth everytime I sign in on here my 2 1/2 yr old daughter, Chloe runs over to me and says.. daddy i wanna sit on your lap and look at old cars. Its becoming our little ritual on the weekends to look at all of the cool rides here.. Coolest part is she beginning to identify shoebox fords and asking if they are like my car. She is going to be one hell of a car and bike nut when she grows up!
But you've got the best part. Get him to look over your shoulder now and then when you're on the HAMB.
my pops isnt on here cuz he isnt good at all with a computer or im sure hed be looking around on here pretty often. he has a 53 chevy and a 64 chevy p/u that im in the process of trying to steal. also hes in my car club and when he goes to motorcycle shows on his harley i usually follow him and car shows hes usually right there with me!!! dont know what id do without him around still!!
its awesome i thank the lord everyday. funny story he went riding a few weeks ago and ended up haveing a electrical problem and no way home a hr away. he said he knew if he called me id be right there. no matter that i was still drunk from the night before and on 4 hrs sleep. i was there.. and he would have done the same for me!!!
my father is michaelthe9 and he has a 51 Ford Victoria and i have a 64 plymouth wagon. we built my wagon together and when i have time i try to help him out on his car. He has taught me a lot through the years and i try to make it to all the local shows with him.
My dad is Flathead dools on here. He posts from time to time. Instead of writing about hot rods, he's generally out in his garage working on one of his 3 rods- a 27 T Roadster, a 40 Ford Sedan, and a 52 Ford Victoria. We actually just got the 52 cranking last night!!!! It hasn't run on it's own power in nearly 40 years so I am excited to get working on it!!!! Go dad!!!
My son is more into bikes although he is a hot rodder, builds cool bikes ,known as chuckamatic on the jockey journal
