Does anyone apart from Offenhauser make new V8-60 heads?

  2. You might check with Edlebrock. They are re activating a lot their old flathead parts.

Since the V8-60 is such a tiny segment of the aftermarket parts business, its doubtful that anyone would attempt to go to the expense to create new products such as heads or other items that are "big dollar" items. It would be cool to see someone do it. Offenhauser wont even make a run of them until they get orders for over 80 sets, and that usually takes several years to get that many #'s accumulated. Edelbrock offered to re-introduce their V8-60 head to Honest Charley when they started doing the bike thing.....but at a quantity of 250 sets!

The only V-8 60 speed parts I've seen available are in the latest Speedway catalog.

Try Norman Frick out of Colorado. He mills 2 piece heads from billet and I believe he can make 1 or 2 plugs per cylinder heads. Ken Austin in Washinton State makes several intakes including a blower manifold.

V8 60 Speed parts are not the easiest thing in the world to find... and they always have a larger price tag on them than the usual big flatty speed parts... you have to watch the speedway stuff, they advertise it but they usually don't have any of it in stock. I waited almost a year to get an intake from them that i didn't even use. the heads are usually a once every 2 year happening. it's all a supply and demand think when they get enough names on a list they have them cast up.

If your into V8 60's and old hot rods I'm going to be selling/listing my 28 roadster highboy that is very very traditional with a All NEW OLD STOCK 1940 V8 60, dual 81's, Edelbrock heads & intake, real model a quickchange rear axle, 40 ford brakes, 16" wires big & little tires...etc the list goes on...

I have no problem shipping to england I just sent a 1930 coupe to a guy in middelton junction, uk give me a call if your interested my name is Randy ph# 573-406-7573
    I live in Illinois.
