I mostly dropped in to enjoy the build stories check out all the nice cars. Loved the 32 frame rail build... Just got back from the Nifty50s parking lot gathering in Tomball/NW Houston. Lots of nice cars there from stock to traditional. I worked for a while in a friend's body shop years ago. The owner now has Parrott's Hot Rod & Kustom's at 1826 NW 1st in Oklahoma City. If you kmow Jerry, tell him I said "Hi" I Wish I had learned more while I was there, i.e. fabrication type skills. Mike ps - Wanted Pre 1945 WW2 era car [ older than my 1947 ]. Since so many people here seem to dislike Volkswagens, if you know where there are any that are REALLY OLD, older than my 1947 ... let me know becasue I have always wanted some type of World War Two VW from 1945 or before either a Beetle, German VW jeep type or VW amphibious war time vehicle.
