I thought I'd fire up the scanner and throw on some pictures we've taken through the years. Most of the pictures are 10 or more years old, but they are fun to look at.
First picture is my favorite. Cares weren't for sale at the time....

My first hotrod came from Zieglers, it was a nice '40 chevy 2dr. Did you get to the Kaylor yard King owned. It was smaller, but we picked through and got lots of stuff out of there.

Back in the '70s we used to go up to my Grandparents farm about every other weekend. In the spring and fall we would go "old car hunting". We would jump in my grandpa's old farm truck(local plates) and drive the gravel roads. Spring and fall the leaves were off the trees so you could see into the yards and trees better. We would use bonoculars and scope em out. I remember Dad p***ing on alot of stuff I'd love to have now. Good memories!!!! Deer hunting was the best way to find stuff. On foot, and talking to the landowners...... If they didn't have something they would know where stuff was laying.

Still cars out there. I went back to see if I could find a '34 ford 4dr that sat in a creek just inside of Iowa. Last time I saw it was 12-14 years ago. The farmer said he didn't even know it was there and I could go take what I wanted if it was still there. Wasn't much there before, but no sign at all of it now. I robbed a '53 ford dash and some parts off a 50 ford that day. I plan on going back, I'll take the camera this time.

  16. Awwww... the good 'ole days
I remember driving pretty much anywhere and seeing stuff like this... not anymore.
You can still find it... but you gotta either dig like a dog or know someone that's forgotten they have stuff like this still sittin' out in the back forty.

This looks like Dale Klee painted it. Or has used it in a painting.
