I swear I saw a post about this thing before, but I have looked through a bunch of old RPU posts and this is the only pic I could find.

That's the same picture that I have of the truck. I think it's a killer truck as well.

That Roadster pick up belonged to Ryan Manson, I am pretty sure it was built from a 32 Pick-up cab. I think Jim Rizzo owns it now, he was doing build-up articles in Street Rodder.

    Words from deadendcruisers.com website:

The RPU you see here is recently built by Ryan. It gets power from an early Chrysler Hemi motor and runs open headers!! It's loud as f*#k!! And fast too, with it's 5.11 gears! Ryan currently has plans to start building a bellytanker, to race El Mirage....
    Here's a little 411 on Ryan's truck:
1932 Ford cab, converted to modified roadster, channeled 5 inches, custom windshield, dash, floor, etc. aluminum aircraft ejection seats from WWII era bomber

    1925 Model T bed

1931 Chevy frame, c-notched in rear, Model A, rear crossmember, custom tubular K-member, suicide perch front crossmember, pinched and bobbed in front, boxed.

1953 Chrysler 331cu Hemi, Racer Brown cam, ported and polished heads, oversized valves, milled to boost compression, 4-duece Weiand intake with 4 '48' Strombergs mated to a T-5 manual trans using stock Chevy clutch actuated by a Howe racing hydraulic throwout bearing.

'40 Ford front end, stock axle, split wishbones, reversed '40 ford steering box converted to side steer.

1951 Ford truck rearend, 5.11 gears

6.50X16 and 7.50X16 Firestones running on 1940 Ford steel wheels
