+5 on this. Only thing I've ever found that works. Plus, it keeps the cars dust, rust, and corrosion free.
I stumbled on the 5 gallon bucket by mistake. I had a bucket with the lid upside down on the top and maybe a cup full of anti-freeze in the bottom of the bucket. When they stepped on the edge of the lid it tipped and dropped them in. I never looked in the bucket over the winter and had a dozen of the varmits in there. Since then I have heard of using a bucket with a wire across the top and a bean can lid wired in the center with peanut ****er on the lid. When they get to the lid it spins around and drops them in the bucket. It is used in hunting camps around here. I found half my front seat from my 57 wagon above the headliner in the spring. Nasty. I set multipule traps because they aways bring thier buddies.
I have my 49 Chevy out back in a "Cover It" type of garage till I can get started on it and I just made one of these. Checked it the following morning and found a mouse in there deader than a freakin door nail. This thing works good.
