Rod:Looks like you had a good time.Wish I could of went, but had to work. Will plan on seeing you there next year. Jerry Nielsen
Jeem Stanford was with Santini and Taylor. They were in the Black and White car in the background of this picture. I don't know what it is. I don't keep up with the newer car models. I do know that is Piero's coupe he was with my pal Dave Martinez the wandering upholstery guy. RodP
Rod sorry I couldn`t make it.To much going on right now.Looks like a great time and I sure miss my ol pals.............
RodP, first off that is an extremely stylish hat. Looks like a redo of the old Solar Scene, and a restoration of the XP6 of Tex Smith that was a AMBR from the day. You guys really have some neat stuff out the in California land. The greatest legends in auto painting are gathered, you included. I wish I could have been there to stand back in a corner and watch. My old childhood hero from my youth in Detroit, Bill Hines, was also in attendance. Thanks for the pictures.
Thanks for the pix...........did they happen to fire up the "rubber band car" in the bottom right of the pix. Chris Nelson Kansas
Wow.. my heroes. I dig that shirt Rod. Thanks for the pictures... I wish you really had one of Watson flipping you off, I'd make it my avatar. See if you can get him to do one, I'm sure he would.
Hey Rod... sorry we couldn't make it.. Looks like you had a good time! Nice shirt! -Juan EDIT: Is that Pep's old merc?
The T coupe. That coupe kicks major booty! I normally don't go for those style headers, but on that car, they freakin' work. That's the look parents warn their daughters about. Thanks for the pics.
Wasn't Larry Watson and Joe Anderson bitter rivals? Did they pose for a picture together or talk? Great pictures!
I think it's a Chrysler 300 all Bentley-ed out....must be the secret staff car for legendary illustrators and painters. HAHAHAaaa Great pics! That multi head spray gun...hahaa, it needs to be in the Smithsonian!!
