That is lookin' great. Those Beezers have such a simple look with that smooth side cover, they make great customs.

It's too stubby for my taste, but I guess stubby is "correct".

Ed...I was concerned about the short tail on this one...but I didn't want a long welded rigid.....I kinda like the speedway style bikes.

  8. Killer Hatch!

Question- Does your weight compress the seat and slam it into the fender, thereby creating tire rub, or did you use some type of snubber?

Hey, you mind if I stick that up on www.bobbertown.com? Maybe provide me w/ some more info. too?

As short as this bike is, the seat actually touches the fender and the springs don't do much of anything. The fender will have a small sissy bar (VERY small)...soooo...rough ride it will be...but I don't plan on taking this one to california.....

Sure...go ahead and put it on the site....what else do you need to know?

Stick a baking thermometer in that oil tank after a hard ride...is the tank big enough?
I'd ride that bike anywhere, after it's sorted out.
I like the old short look a lot better than the disco stretch.
    BSA...yeah I dig it

I like the way its looking... you still have the stock tank?

what about throwing it back on and taking a picture that way, see how she looks?

either way it should be a blast

Yeah..the oil tank is small, but I don't plan on ridin it hard till I check it out....Thought about doing some coiled steel tubing for feed and return lines.

I like the bike more and more as I see it sitting in the shop....kinda like a 100HP Schwinn....scary, but cool.

Bad***...smaller rear wheel with a skinny white pinstripe = perfect. I love the short look...making it much longer creates a lot of empty space and looks odd IMHO. nice work.

Yup...still have the stock tank...I'll stick it back on tomorrow....I tried it first and didn't like it...too big for the "compact" look I've got going.

I'm on haiatus with my project... but will get to it at the first part of next year... so, your pictures are helping me get through this drought. [IMG]

As far as the look is concerned, I like it. IOt looks like one of those no-front brake, racin' in circles bikes! Speedway Specee-al!! Go with it!

Maybe change the bars to something a little wider and flatter? No?

    Sam.

now that looks killer... some pipes with small Megaphones, angled up along where the lower leg of the hardtail would be... nice!

Gregg...thanks for gettin me to pull that bsa tank off the ceiling and giving it another try. I had mocked it up earlier and didn't like it....but now it's definitely gonna stay. As far as the pipes, I had thought about the high factory style scrambler....but your suggestion works well too...kinda hides the fact it's a converted swing arm.

Hey Hatch is that a honda up front there? That looks just like the CB500 my buddy just gave me. I might have to ditch the cafe racer look.
