you need like a scale person looking over the fence or something. or some punk kid on a bike staring at the cars dreaming of what they could be.

Still love building models especially the 1/8 scale. Bought the body on e-bay scrounged up a bunch of parts and scratch built a few and this is what i ended up with, artwork is hand painted.

Couple more 1/8 scale models, grew up building model cars, now its hard to find a hobby shop that sells em, or kids with the patience to build them.

  19. Amazing! I can almost smell the metallic blood iron, musty interior, and dripping hypoid gear oil.

I admire your work. I build models when I can, so I really enjoy your attention to detail. I would love to own a Junkyard diorama with some Tri 5s and some 30s junkers in it. How much would something like that cost a guy?

Or some shady-looking guy with a camera trying to sneak some "spy shot" photos that he can post on some message board's junkyard thread.

Seriously though, fantastic work on the diorama! I wish I had talent like that.

And the crazy thing is that I knew both Dean Lowe and Sonny DePalma from modeling forums on the web before I joined the HAMB. Small world, indeed. Gary
