hurst indy matic: i need a little help

  1. i just picked up a hurst indy matic auto shifter off the ebay and i was wondering if any one has a copy of the instrction sheet for a bop th400 thans

    thanks in advance guys
     
  2. it should be on their website in PDF-- my old Mr gasket "Indy" 3 spd shifter was on the mr gasket site........

  5. got it to load but they dont list that shifter as a current product

  8. with the merger with b&m it liiks like its not a current product. so no online suport and im waiting for a callback. so if ya have a copy let me know

    I got that shifter in my Merc. Ground an extra notch and it works great on my 700R4.

    Did anyone ever come up with an instruction sheet? We need a copy too. B&M has shitcanned a ton of the Hurst line, and they don't have the instructions for most of the old stuff. So maybe everyone that has them could scan them in and post them in Tech?

    Hey guys, after using using this shifter a couple of times I have found a problem. If you extend your shift lever take a file and deepen the detent grooves a bit or it will pop out of gear, and always when you least expect it, like hitting a bump in traffic.

    The Indymatic is no longer available if someone wants that style, in the Hurst catalog, it now shows that it has been replaced with B&M #130-80775. Just a little FYI. Unfortunately, it has B&M stamped on it.
