So I have a chance to get some new Torque Thrust 18" wheels with new tires for a screaming deal...

Question I have for the m***es - do you all think this style works on a custom?

See my quick PhotoShop and compare to a set of WWW with caps.

    Thanks...

I for one do not.It is a pretty eveil look and youll get guys on her saying how its a 60s look and **** like that but, wide whites and the pre 57 hubcap of your choice would be most appropriate. The only way torque thrusts would look at home is if you decided to put quad headlights, rolled pans and and swivel ****on tuffed seats in it with a wild flake job.Read Popular Customs magazine to see what Im talkin about.Holy ****!I just described Carl Caspers 51

They belong on a mustang, your custom is cool enough to look good with black stealies

Sure ..if you want to get in custom rodder......oh wait...they killed that magazine due to lack of readership!!!!! Guess there just weren't enough people digging the big wheel look on old cars.

Nah... the first pic is killer..

  15. Yah- would be sweet. An injector scoop poking through the hood should complete the look.

...but nice job on the chop.

I guess that answers your question, lol.

I once thought about putting some american racing salt flat special wheels on my chopped 49 but eventually realized it was ghey.

You can't lose with a nice set of steelies with some sort of adornment (full cap, spiders, baby moon).

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO !!!!!!!
That car too BAD*** to put those wheels on it! I don't care if they were FREE! There's so many choices out there to put on your car. If all you want to do is go to Streetrod shows, they work. If you want ANY respect from Custom guys,go with the first pic...or something like that!
