Looks like I might be in that club. I got a T Bucket 8 years ago. The story with this is it was a Car Craft Magazine monthy build car in 1967. A friend of my dads started the car in 1967, had hand made the ch***is and body following the magazine each month. He fitted a 303 Old motor and box, a was well on the way to have it finished, until 1969 he got married and his wife won't let him go out in to the shed and work on it. When I got the T bucket it had been sitting outside and water had gotten into the motor, so I pulled the motor out and have put the T bucket in the shed.

Started project in 1971 - Won IHRA Summner Nats doing a new thing to Ohio called , "Bracket Racing." Fast forward to 1984 I was flat towing it to Ca. behind a 10 foot Ford box van with a 302.....wheeeez.....and a dipstick in Indiana rear ended me in a snow storm at about 20 mph. Enough to put a big F'un dent in the back that's still not fixed. :(

One of these days......fix the dent. Put the chrome back on. It has 63,000 orig miles.

    That's always where I'm at...
As soon as I get something to halfway work, I end up selling it.
I think I just like unfinished piles 'O ****...they're still open for possibilities!
Once its at a certain point, the outcome seems clear, and I'm bored...same with drawing. Damn...I have mental problems!

  16. My daily work truck is always too busy to be taken offline for any amount of time, so it runs like it is.

Today it is rusty white epox primer, but I have no recent pics.

I'm just trying to not cave the hood in on my truck, when I have to craw
across the cowl area to get a tool from the chest, on the other side.
One day she will see the light of day again..
