1948 Chevy - the ever awful - whats it worth?

    ...Hate to bug everyone about a what is it worth question - but i really dont have a clue. It is listed for a price, but i would like to see other gut feeling. claims it mostly complete, drivetrain and all with the eception of the grille. Thanks-

    I wouldn't go much over $500... they're just not that popular and especially without the grille they're hard to come by!

    48 coupes are cool. grills can be found on ebay pretty often. looks like you are missing a bumper and beltline. car looks pretty solid. i wouldn't pay more than 1000. 48 parts tend to be more expensive than 49 and up. 500 would be a good deal. pm me if you need parts.

    Anyone have a link for body dimensions? I need to see if i even have the room to wedge it in the garage!

    unless it's a business coupe, I think or maybe doctors coupe... one of them didnt have one. The normal coupe does have one though.

    It should have a back seat the gas cap is in the fender. The business coupes have the gas cap behind the door p***enger side tank is where the back seat would be.

    Last one I bought was $500 with a ***le and a good grille...non running original motor.
