Hung and fit both door's..prepped the cab, doors and front fenders and laid down some final paint on them...
I don't normally like to shoot it together, but with the suicide doors it's a ***** to line them up and fit them so all i could think of was messing up the new paint had i don it later.....and i would have messed it up. I hung em alone and wasn't having the best of luck, especially with the p*** side. It hates me.
Anyway,i'm happy with it overall, but i did hang a few curtains i have to wet sand tomorrow..then lay a couple more coats to be "done"..
I didn't spend a ton of time blocking it out, just looking for it to be smooth and presentable..But i actually think i could have shot it gloss black now if i wanted...i guess i did more blocking than i thought i did..
Nice thing is when i do decide to go gloss ( it WILL be eventually, just not now) i know it won't be a big job to get it where it needs to be..
Yes, i know the satin black is typical..so am i..Well, that and i liked it before it was "in" :)
It will be flamed BAD BOB style..(do a search and look at his Merc..sometin' like that)...
So anyway, here's a few pics.
By the end of the weekend it will be fully painted and should be pretty much ***embled so i can lay out the flames......
    Then more paint work...

    heres the pics:

I took this just for the hell of it. Still wet here..literally, just shot. I'm still holding the damn paint gun :D, driver's side door/cowl area

I dont care what anyone says..Flat black still looks tough as hell. At least I hate red wheels. Cant wait to see it with the flames.

flat black is my all time favorite, common-or-not, it still looks good on most any rod.

Yes, i'll agree, it looked better shiny....it will be someday, just not yet :)
It's about a 4" chop judging by what i removed from the side window's.
The flames will be a solid, blood red and panel style, not off the whole front of the truck. both front fender's, hood, roof, and rear fenders with get the 'treatment'..
