Holy Moly MHRQ or may we call you Queenie? You've really set the cat among the pigeons now.

    Miss HRQ
you live in Niagara Falls , own a Willys and don't go to the Home Run. You don't know what you're missing every August. Awesome weekend--great cars, great racing, great people. Gets better every year.

  17. Kind of wondered that myself. The actual Willys Homerun is out in Elma, NY and is held on Saturday. Willys come in from all over the country for it. The Sunday at Lancaster is a Nostalgia show and racing.-MIKE

Well I went a few years ago, but then the car was taken off the road to do some repairs...and to move the rear end back a bit..and its sat ever since just the way you see it now. Thats when we stopped going. Im really hoping that we will be able finish it up soon and start going again!

Here is my Willys. We all want a 40 gasser, but most of us can't afford one. I like anything that is off-beat, so any Willys fits that mold. It's a 50 Jeepster, but I call a Speedster. running a 366 SBC and a T5 5 speed with 390 gears in the back. Weighs in around 2000 lbs., so it goes like stink. It's a fun little car

At the risk of being glass and having no history I will post these picks just to be part of this thread. To make up for the glass I do have a '48 Willys Jeepster convert., '53 Willys Panel, 2 '63 Willys wagons and a '39 Willy's P/U in the shop. Still looking for a chopped '33!

The first willys that we owned was a glass 1941. Some people would give us a hard time but i would tell them at least were riding.:D:D

Gosh I diden't realize how many old school cars there were on this site.

I am so sick and tired of going to a old time drag race and seeing purpose buils "Gassers" that these pics make me smile.

You know we have enough old school cars on here to have a real gasser race somewhere.

I am up for haulin' somewhere next spring for a index race, anybody want to take the lead and head it up?

Thanks Miss Hot Rod Queen for the post.

Hey Fred... you must not pay much attention to this site :D

Go to MoKan for the HAMB Drags, or Temple Raceway in Texas for the Day of the Drags.. you will be smiling :D

  29. MHRQ, just come down with your dad and enjoy the show, it's a great time and so close to you.
