Just kinda wondering what winter projects some of you guys were going to be tearing into in the next few weeks to come......Here is mine
wel..so far its been a 'fall' project,,.now well on its way to a 'winter ' project, and i can guarntee spring, summer and atleast fall of next year! (if i'm lucky!)
Big project here... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=304689&showall=1 I hope to have it driveable next summer (certainly not 'done', though!)
Here's my new shop truck, birthday present from my pop! Volare clip, 351C/3spd are the only things I'll be doing to it for now...
53 Merc, getting a built rocket 303 w/3sp hydro, soon as I get the motor out of the 51 Hudson it is in. Going in primer with some flames.
I got six more weeks of school and then I will be done. Then I would like to start working on my T touring. I am thinking A ch***is with an A or B banger maybe a V8-60. I hope to get all the parts off the HAMB for it. So far everything I got for it has come from HAMBers. I would really like to do something with the COE too but that probably won't happen this year or maybe ever. LOL The other thing I want to do is get an interior in the 46 if it does not get sold. I want to get it lower to the ground too. Scott
Been selling some stuff so I could buy some new parts. I've been going slow on it lately, not much done... I need a kick in the pants! I'll let you know!
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=524030&stc=1&d=1225342016 LOts of work this winter. it will be a good spring.
Putting a Tempest suspension and drivetrain in this pile for my 5-year old son... And putting a floor and a ****load of work into this thing for myself...
My goal is to have my 30 coupe driving by August. Ive been collecting parts for a couple years now and Just about ready to get started. The 32 frame on the frame table in the back ground is for the coupe.
This will definetly be a few winter projects for my wife, this winter we plan on pulling the flathead 6 out of it and switching it with a 318 or 340 and then do a brake overhaul. Just really want to get her on teh street and then start the exterior.
Still tearing her down to build her up. I'll be doing more of the same this winter. Hope to start rebuilding this spring. At the pace I'm going, not sure when it will be done. Would like to get it done, so I can take the old man for a ride.
This is what I'll be fighting with this winter, and the entire next year I think... Don't worry, it's worse than it looks...
