View attachment 524449 Myself and the boy(14) are doing this for his first car. With any luck we can be on the road this summer. That is him in the pics, he is going to lean how to do as much as possible incl. the motor.
I couldn't sell it either, So im completing the frame and could possibly be swapping it with my white truck next winter. I plan on chopping the 5 window and learning some metal work on it. Cause if I mess it up OH WELL.. I couldnt Sell. and I got the bed free from a friend. Ill keep all the stainless unchopped though because I know some people have PM'd me about getting it.
First mockup and crude Photo Shop of a pile o' parts in the shop. It's a single seater, gonna have a Ford 4 cyl. and five speed. (not a banger though) So far total cost is $0, but that will soon change. If i can afford to heat the shop this winter it should be on wheels this spring.
I've quit posting pictures of my shop truck build till it's on the road. have some parts getting coated and building a set of headers. then it's bolting the front clip and throwing in a wire loom. it should be a driver. it took a long time to bolt on the warts on the roof but this is going to be a 12 month a year work truck (18 inches shorter than stock) and I want the look of a service truck not a custom or hot rod. once it's out of the shop hope to get busy on my 48 ford this winter
A little work on project-t, powertrax unit, oil pan maybe more height on the front The truck has been the winter project for 13 years..lol The bus just got the nod for a V-8 conversion
